It's all about love!
My latest body of work, "It's all about love!" is a celebration of the power of love.
Besides the obvious quest we humans embark on to find love with one another, it is more specifically an exploration into the power of our own source of self respect and love for one's self. . . Knowing when one needs to walk away and follow a new path rather than succumb to the alternative out of fear of the unknown or of course lack of respect or self love.
When we believe in ourselves we respect the value of our intuition (symbolically for me - the blue bird), we recognise our inner forces (represented in some instances by my childhood viking helmet), we understand the power of meditation or draw upon our spiritual beliefs and faith, and being at one with that around us (nature/the landscape). We know when it's time to fight or flight... and above all, if we love ourselves we will never give up on our dreams... aspirations and ideals; the seemingly elusive "white picket fence".
